Sometimes you visit a country and you're awed by the amazing food. The Caribbean is no exception to this experience! Known for the use of spices and seasoning, your taste buds explodes with the pleasures of century old recipes.

We at the Knott Rope Bar & Grill would be delighted to teach you the various nuances of Caribbean cooking. From perfectly seasoned meat to the addition of minute amount of spices that makes all the difference.

Learning from a local, who has the knowledge of his/her ancestors before, trumps any other method that may be available. Experience is key, and we're here, to help you experience.

We will pick you up from where you're staying and take you to the restaurant from where you'd be learning.

It's typically a 1hr ride from Calliaqua to Mt. Wynne (where the restaurant is located)

You would get to personally meet the manager of the establishment and the opportunity to ask any questions you please before and after you've prepared your dish.

You would learn how to make pealou (browned rice, peas and chicken) the way most locals do. Pealou is a very common dish within St. Vincent & the Grenadines and can be considered the hallmark of Vincentian cooking.

Get a personalized introduction to the scenic, southern part of Grenada with a 2-hour, private tour for your group of one to three people. Enjoy the flexibility of a fully customizable, private tour that includes pickup and drop-off at your hotel or cruise ship terminal, and transport by air-conditioned vehicle.

Begin at a start time that’s convenient for you, and meet a private driver guide at your hotel in southern Grenada, or at the Melville Street cruise ship terminal. Board a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, then work with your guide to create an itinerary that’s perfectly suited to your interests and schedule—or if you’d just like an introduction to southern Grenada’s “classic” sights, simply sit back and enjoy the ride.

Throughout the tour, the guide will share fun stories and history about the island of Grenada, and offer a glimpse of life on “Spice Island,” where the warm air is scented with fresh nutmeg, and picture-perfect beaches are hidden all along the coast.

You’ll find views across St. George, and have the chance to explore the town’s historic architecture, vibrant culture, and bustling, narrow streets. This 2-hour tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel, or at the cruise ship parking lot.
